Spartacus hoodies will soon be available. They are from Raging Bull (see picture). They will have the Spartacus crest emboridered on the front and the words “Spartacus Rugby” embroidered on the back in white.

If you’re interested in buying one, please pay 350 SEK via Bank Giro to 482-1302. When you make the lodgement, put hoodie, name and size. For example, I will write “Hoodie Cormac O’Brien XL”

Sizes below are in inches for the chest. Just measure your chest and work out how many inches it is:

Spartacus got their 2012 league campaign off to a winning start thanks to a 24 – 10 victory over local rivals GRF. It is Spartacus’ fourth home victory in a row over GRF following years of defeat to the team from across the city. The game was well attended by supporters of both clubs, and they were treated to a good well-contested game of rugby. As is usual in these derby matches, the losing side never gave up and they could have snatched a dramatic draw near the end. Full Story »

Spartacus start their league campaign with a home match against local rivals Göteborgs RF. This promises to be a thrilling derby match. Over the past two seasons, there has been very little between the two sides, with two wins for Spartacus and two wins for GRF. Both sides will be eager to hit the ground running this season so it should be a cracking game of rugby.

All are welcome to the game at Partille this Saturday. Kick-Off is at 14:00. We have a full bar and there will also be food available. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than watching large men knocking lumps out of each other!
